A perfectly trimmed yellowtail flounder fillet is wrapped around our made from scratch clam stuffing. The flounder is light, flakey, and mild, leaving room for the vegetable, clam, and brine of the stuffing to compliment one another. As the stuffing rises while the duo bakes, the delicate yellowtail flounder splits in the center revealing a most enticing presentation of the meal ahead. To finish, a pat of garlic herb butter is placed on top and allowed melt to the bottom edges of the pan. If you thought this would be easy, you are right again!
On a baking safe dish or tray, apply a coating of the frozen Garlic Herb Butter in circles to create a non-stick surface. Reserve the remaining majority of the Garlic Herb Butter to the side. Remove frozen Stuffed Flounder from plastic pouch and place on the coated dish or tray. Bake in oven or toaster oven for 45 minutes at 375°. At this time apply the Garlic Herb Butter over the Stuffed Flounder as one might baste. Use as much or as little as you prefer and bake for another 15 minutes, allowing the Garlic Herb Butter to melt as the Stuffed Flounder becomes golden brown. If a soft, flakey, and less browned Stuffed Flounder is preferred, follow these same instructions but additionally place a cover over the flounder for the entire process. This entire process is to be completed in the time of one hour. Keep frozen until use.
